First Pres Cyclists:

The inaugural ride of the FPC Cyclists will be on July 21, 2016, at 5:30 pm.  We will meet and park at the baseball fields in Elizabethan (at the 4.5 mile marker on the Tweetsie Trail).  Depending on your enthusiasm/ability, you can ride back to the Johnson City trailhead or a distance more suitable with your desires.  We will then meet at the trailside Smokehouse BBQ restaurant below the quarry for fellowship and a meal at 7 pm to complete the ride.  Feel free to invite guests, but no small children for this ride please!!  We will need a head count for the restaurant, so please respond to Beth Lowe or Richard McGowan by July 18th.

The FPC Cyclists will go on our second bike ride Sunday, October 23rd!  We will meet in the parking lot at Cardinal Park at 2:30 pm and ride the Tweetsie Trail to Ken Lowe Pass (also known as Big Johns in Elizabethton) and back.  That is a ride of about 16 miles, and hopefully, the leaves will be close to their peak.  After the ride, we will go somewhere for sustenance and fellowship.  Guests are welcome!  In case of inclement weather (temp below 50 or rain) we will try to reschedule.
